A reason to make pictures.

These days are difficult when you cannot go outside to make your pictures. Its your passion and your inner peace. They took it a way from you for a while.  You need to take care of your family and especially your kids.  In the evening you try to find your inner peace with music and watch the photos that you made before it started that you had to stay at home. I discovered a band  to listen to. Disturbed is the name of the band. The Lead singer of the band made a different kind of version of the song: The sound of silence.  I found this picture that i put under my text during listening to this song.

It is my favourite place to go to when i need some time to think and make pictures.

I dedicate the text of the song to this picture.

People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one dare
Disturb the sound of silence

Marina di Massa, Italy.

Yesterday i found this picture and i published it on my Instagram account and made a link to my Facebook page.  There was a special person who commented to the picture.  She said;”Beautiful black and white … represents the moment in which we live ..”

After a while her comment made sense to me and she made a point. So i dedicated this picture to her but also to Disturbed. One of the songs of the band make me think of this picture .

The song: The light

Sickening, weakening
Don’t let another somber pariah consume your soul
You need strengthening, toughening
It takes an inner dark to rekindle the fire burning in you
Ignite the fire within you

When you think all is forsaken
Listen to me now (all is not forsaken)
You need never feel broken again
Sometimes darkness can show you the light

Portovenere, Italy
